Georgia Southern and Florida Historical Society

Welcome to the Georgia Southern and Florida Railway Historical Society. The Society is a group dedicated to preserve, promote, and disseminate the Georgia Southern and Florida Railroad. Other railroads associated with the GS&F are the Macon & Birmingham Railroad, Atlantic Valdosta & Western Railway, the St. John’s River Terminal Company, Macon & Atlantic Railway, Hawkinsville & Florida Southern Railway, the Gulf Line Railway, Live Oak Perry & Gulf Railroad and the South Georgia Railway.

Membership in the Society is $22 per year, which gives you a yearly pass, a quarterly newsletter- The Suwannee River Route Telegraph- plus invitations to meetings and shows. Everyone is invited to join regardless of race, sex, or religion.
